Galleries 0 to 06 reflect the Edinburgh Alternative Scene from 1998-1999
Gallery 01 is notable for Club DJs at the time. Galleries 07 to 10 are Ascension Goth Club Archives.
Gallery 11 features clubbing at the New Mission relaunch @ Studio 24 in 1999.
Galleries 12 to 16 feature photos from Whitby Gothic weekend.
Galleries 17 to 20 are from Kero-scene and the Doom members of the Edinburgh Metalscene after 1999.

playing nu-metal, hardcore, skatecore, etc when it was new and fun...

Dysfunction Rock & Nu Metal Club
Photos from about Sept 2000 to July 2001
The club was started in Sept 1999 running fortnightly at the Venue by John Edwards and Claire Moffat, later Jane, the late Ewan Cummings, Lee and Ross of EMS and other guests including Iqy and Dunk. The change of the venue to the Attic in January 2001 helped to keep the club going with cheaper entry and drinks. Dysfunction-Live run by Deke showcased nu-metal bands before the club. It is thought that the club inspired the nu-metal theme developed when the Attic became Opium in the summer 2001 refit.
